It must be comfy in there...

Regardless of our spicy fajita dinner last night and lapping the mall several times, it's now Friday and baby is still kickin' around...inside mommy's tummy...

Ready?

UPDATED UPDATE to the first UPDATE

First things first. It's Wednesday night and no baby, yet...

We're not holding out on you, there's just no news. We will, by the way, send everyone an e-mail with the news once things happen.

All is well; we had an ultrasound this morning to make sure everything was cool, and all is. For what it's worth, the ultrasound technician took measurements and estimates that baby is already over nine pounds...so ya, send your thoughts to Laura.

Laura is doing well and getting lots of rest. Everything is ready for baby; it's just a matter of time, now.

Hello? Baby? You were due yesterday...

Ya, so just so you know we're not holding out on you:

no baby yet...it's now Monday afternoon...

ETA: 24-36 hrs...

So baby has been kicking around a lot more recently, perhaps gettin' a little cramped in there...

In anticipation of baby, Laura has had to take all of her motherly instincts out on Milo.

...seems to me that they have both grown quite a bit since October...

All of that growth requires sustenance...

I hope she doesn't want to kill me for posting that last one...of course, I suppose should would have to catch me...

Stay tuned...

Two weeks and counting...

Good thing the nursery is pretty much ready. Milo already has his spot picked out...

The Amazing Growing Baby - or - A Brief Chronology of My Wife's Tummy

Many have asked, few have been privy to: pictures of "Pregnant Laura". So what follows is a brief (February-May) account.

Back in February, Laura was really starting to show...

...a sign of things to come...

March is when we really began to get excited. I would say almost every day (while performing seismic testing on her tummy), "We really should be taking a picture." Here's the one that I actually got off my butt and took...

...I personally like this one because it doesn't particularly show how absolutely exhausted she had become...baby is already making mom's life difficult!

(Note to Parents: this is your cue to say something like "You don't know the half of it." or "You haven't seen anything yet.")

April was a busy month for both of us, and flew by. This is a shot of Laura as she was ready to go to the annual dinner for her sorority group, where she won "Sister of the Year" for her chapter.

PARTIAL FRONTAL NUDITY ALERT

Not really, but this is the first shot that actually shows Laura's tummy. It's quite a big step for her to allow me to post these...I think her tummy is amazing and she is somewhat less comfortable with its general appearance. This also happens to be my favorite so far...

UPDATE

Here's the last of the pics of Laura (and her tummy, which seemed to have taken on a life of its own)...the day before we were off to the hospital.
