Katherine Update v04.07

For what it may be worth, there's just water in the sippy cup...

As further evidence of my photographic prowess, a mid-sneeze shot...

Laura and Katherine in their Easter best.

Just chillin' with her new bunny...a gift from her little friend Ainslee.

For whatever reason, Dave is the ONLY person she will get this comfortable hanging out with...

Captive in the basement...

Make the best of the situation...the world is her playground...

She's really become more of a mommy's girl of late...perhaps in anticipation of Mom's impending return to work...56 days and counting, Laura...

Here's a little compilation of "The Sights and Sounds of Katherine" over the last little while...

Those first steps are not far away...we've seen a few flashes of brilliance already...

You know those pics of us in our Nucks stuff a few posts down....

You can now also find them on the Canucks website under the Ultimate Canucks Fan Search.

It's 3:30. I'm going to bed.

CANUCKS WIN!

For the record, 1:54 left in OT #4...Henrik from Daniel.

Tomorrow is going to be a long day...

At this stage, it's actually today that will be long.

As I write this post, it is about 3:00 am ET and it's intermission between the third and fourth overtime periods in Game 1 of the Canucks first-round playoff series against Dallas.

I have now been watching hockey for about 8 hours. I have to be at work in about 5 hours. I am still nervous watching the "action", which has become a rather flattering description for the game at this stage...at least it's in 58" inches of HD, right? OT #4, here we come. My prediction: Jeff Cowan.

Go Canucks Go.

P.S. - As I told Laura when she went to bed about 5 hours ago, I will complain about how tired I am (especially if the Canucks lose), but I will not expect sympathy.

Geek Test (a.k.a. Who's With Me?)

Recognize this?

How about this?

If you recognize either of these, you may be a geek.

I am a geek. Like I needed to explain that to people.

Anyway, after only 25 years or so, they're in the final stages of producing a live-action movie (with LOTS of computer-generated effects, of course) of the...

TRANSFORMERS

I think I know of two people that would see this with me: for sure my buddy Kevin in Abbotsford and quite possibly my brother in Vancouver...too bad their both about 4,500 kms away...makes the movie a little pricey...maybe Laura will go with me..we'll make it a date!

Can I bring my Transformers? Crap, they're 4,500 kms away in mom's crawlspace.

So, who's with me? Tell me I'm not alone. Please.

P.S. Go 'Nucks.
